Paddy Kirk returns for Longford Town as they welcome Bohemians to Bishopsgate as they look to build on a two game unbeaten run.
A 2-2 draw at home to Dundalk followed by a late Derry City equaliser in last week’s 1-1 with Doyle’s enjoying the return to the pitch of captain Dean Zambra.
“It’s great to have Dean back” declared Doyle, he’s probably the most experience player in the group and does a really good job when he is in there as a holding midfielder”.
“It’s great to have him in the side he’s the captain, when’s he’s not in the team you miss and he’s done really well since he came back in” added Doyle.
Kirk returning along with the potential of Aaron Dobbs and Sam Verdon gives Doyle some more depth to his side against a Bohs team who bounced back from recent poor results with a 4-0 win over Finn Harps.
“Bohs had a brilliant win against Finn Harps” declared Doyle, “Bohs have gone through the motions a bit but they will go into with a lot of confidence”.
“There a club who would be looking to higher up the table” explained Doyle of Bohs.
“It’s the same for us, if we manage to get a win on Saturday evening it will move us closer to the next group in the table”.
Conor Davis is doubtful for Saturday evening’s game. While Aaron McNally is out (ankle), Aaron McCabe is out with a knock, and Callum Warfield is still another few weeks away after picking up an injury in April.
