Roscommon bowed out of the Lidl Ladies league after semi-final defeat to Laois in Tang today.
Laois recorded a 4-15 to 5-9 victory having led 3-5 to 2-4 at half-time and Roscommon's first half goals were scored by Joanne Cregg and Laura Fleming.
The goals continued to fly after the break with efforts from Ashling Hanly, Natalie McHugh and a second from Laura Fleming pushing Roscommon six points ahead at the second water break.
A goal and a point in quick succession from Mo Nerney got Laois back in contention and they finished strongly outscoring Roscommon five points to one.
Laois will now play Kildare in the division three final on Sunday June 27.
