Mostrim edged their way past Dromard by a single point to claim the final Longford semi-final place.
The Edgeworthstown side winning out 1-12 to 1-11, having led seven points to six at half-time in a tightly contested encounter.
Dromard had raced into a three points to nil lead after six minutes. Francis Magee, Joseph Hagan and Ross McNerney with the points.
Padraig Joyce inspired a Mostrim comeback with three points and a Darragh Doherty free while Dromard responded with a Francis Magee sideline to make four-points each after 19 minutes.
Another Joyce point and one from Brian Farrell put Mostrim ahead. Joseph Hagan’s responded for Dromard. While Brian Farrell and Aaron Farrell exchanged points to make it at seven points to six game at half-time.
Darragh Doherty and Brian Farrell added to Mostrim’s score on the restart before a France Magee penalty on 37 minutes moved Dromard level 1-6 to nine points.
Ross McNerney moved Dromard ahead before Darragh Doherty cancelled the score out. Ross McNerney responded to make it 1-8 to 10 points for Dromard.
Brian Farrell converted a Mostrim free followed by a Ross McNerney score with Doherty’s free levelling the game 12 points to 1-9.
Ross McNerney sent over two points in second-half injury time seeing Dromard lead 1-11 to 12 points but Seamus Hannon stuck with a last goal to send Mostrim through 1-12 to 1-11.
Mostrim will now face Colmcille in the first Longford football semi-final on Sunday.
