Leitrim fell to Mayo despite a late Leitrim rally in Carrick-on-Shannon as Mayo won out 16 points to 2-9.
Mayo were nine points to the good with five minutes of normal time remaining. Leitrim struck two late goals for a dramatic finish.
As expected Mayo dominated the contest and led 15 points to four on the 46th minute. The hosts pulled back three points in the next nine minutes.
Conor Quinn pounced for Leitrim's first goal and Jack Casey converted a penalty, making it a two point game.
Michael McKernan converted a long range free to cut the lead to one point.
However Leitrim could not draw level as Mayo advance to the final to face Sligo.
