A strong second-half performance saw Leinster secure top spot in Pool 2 in the Investec Champions Cup.
Leo Cullen’s men blew past Bath at the Aviva Stadium to come away with a 47-21 victory. Robbie Henshaw crossed over twice in a man of the match performance in Dublin.
However, Leinster didn’t have things their own way. A first minute try from Alfie Barbeary and a try from Tom De Glanville five minutes later had Leinster 14-0 down after seven minutes.
A Robbie Henshaw double on nine and 15 minutes with Sam Prendergast adding conversions had the side’s level. Jack Conan and De Glanville both crossed the white wash as the Bath led 21-19 at half-time.
However, Leinster were awesome after the restart. RG Snyman put the hosts back in front.
Bene Obano saw red on 59 minutes and Bath couldn’t keep up the Leinster bench. Two tries from Garry Ringrose and one from Jamison Gibson-Park pushed the blues home.
Prendergast and Harry Byrne added the conversion as Leinster won out 47-21.
