Leitrim Gaels reached the senior football championship semi-finals following a 1-13 to 12 points win over Fenagh St. Caillins at Avant Money Pairc Sean MacDiarmada today.
The sides were deadlocked at three points apiece on 18 minutes before Leitrim Gaels opened up a four point gap when Enda Moreton found the net eight minutes later.

Leitrim Gaels dominated the third quarter and grabbed four of the next six scores to lead 1-10 to five points at the second water break.
Fenagh were much improved after the resumption and a point from Riordan O’Rourke reduced the margin to five points with four minutes left.
Fenagh finished strongly by landing two of the last three scores but they still came up short as Leitrim Gaels marched onto the last four.
