Leitrim get the better of Cavan in Abbotstown

Leitrim moved to the top of Allianz league division 3B after a 1-13 to nine point win over Cavan.

James McNabola found the Cavan net after five minutes in the telling score of the game. Points from Gavin O’Hagan, Martin Feeney saw the side’s level at half-time 1-3 to three points.

Second-half points from Karl McDermott (3), O’Hagan (3), Sean Markham, Diarmuid Kellegher, Gavin O’Brien as Leitrim ran out 1-13 to nine point winners.
