The Allianz national football league is heading towards the penultimate round this weekend with still plenty to play for in all divisions. In division 4, Leitrim can hold onto slim hopes of promotion as they welcome Wexford to Carrick on Shannon. Andy Moran's side have had wins over Carlow, Waterford and Tipperary but lost out to Cavan and London. Former goal keeper Martin Mc Hugh believes the loss to the exiles could be the one that they could rue should they miss out on promotion
Meanwhile Inter-county GAA players are unlikely to engage with the media for a second successive weekend. Wexford have cancelled a number of interviews with players scheduled for Friday. It comes as the dispute between the GAA and the Gaelic Players Association over expenses continues.
