The Leitrim hurlers are currently on top of Allianz hurling division 3b following a 3-21 to 3-16 victory over Lancashire at Carrick-on-Shannon.
A superior second half proved decisive after Leitrim trailed 2-11 to 3-9 at half-time. Brendan Delaney with both first-half goals for the hosts.
Leitrim drew level eight minutes into the second half when Stephen Goldrick found the net. 21 minutes later, Joe Murray’s point gave them a five-point cushion.
The sides traded a point each thereafter as Leitrim emerged victorious. Olcan Conway’s men have a perfect record so far and top the division 3b table on scoring difference.
