Leitrim booked their place in the Allianz league division 3B final with a comprehensive victory over Longford.
Leitrim were the better side for the majority winning their semi-final 2-16 to 1-12 in Drumshanbo.
Olcan Conway’s side led 1-12 to seven points at the break. Joe Murray’s 22nd minute goal the marker between the sides. Murray also registered two points as Gavin O’Hagan converted two free’s in his three point tally.
Longford made a comeback early in the second-half and were able to reduce the gap to three points.
However Leitrim showed to have more strength throughout with Joe Murray’s second goal the difference as Leitrim won out 2-16 to 1-12.
Leitrim will now face Cavan in the division 3B final.
