Leitrim face Limerick with place in Lidl ladies league division four final up for grabs

Leitrim go in search of a place in the Lidl ladies league division four final this weekend. While Roscommon wrap-up their group stage ahead of a division three final.

Both games take place on Sunday with high drama expected on the final day of group football.

After losing to Antrim in last year’s Division 4 final and missing out on the chance of promotion, Leitrim aim to go one better this year.

When the counties met in the group stages of this year’s competition, Leitrim ran out seven-point winners on their trip to Ballinamore.

However, Letrim will be confident of closing the gap and booking their place in the final.

Limerick contested a ladies Division 4 Final in 2022, losing out to Antrim. They will be keen to get back to another decider after losing to Antrim at the semi-final stage last year.

The Saffrons are on home soil in Belfast and must make that count against Roscommon. The Rossies may have one eye on a Division 3 Final on April 6.

Ollie Lennon’s side have achieved their primary goal of earning promotion, alongside Clare.

An Antrim win would move them onto six points in the standings. However, they’re then relying on Louth to either draw with or lose to Sligo.
