Leitrim are out of the TG4 All-Ireland ladies intermediate football championship after a 1-11 to 1-7 defeat to Kildare in today's quarter-final.
A 11th minute Neasa Dooley goal gave Kildare a two-point lead on 11 minutes after Michelle Guckian kicked a couple of Leitrim frees.
Leitrim responded well and a stunning goal from Muireann Devaney helped to restore parity at half-time with the game deadlocked at 1-4 apiece.
Points from Lara Curran and Grace Clifford settled Kildare after the break, while substitute Gillian Wheeler landed a couple of key scores to seal victory.
The Lilywhites will take on Westmeath in the last four after they defeated Clare 3-11 to 2-11 at Tuam Stadium.
