Leitrim got off to a surprising start with a victory away to Warwickshire on the opening day of Allianz hurling league division 3B.
The Leitrim side won out 1-21 to 3-6 to get off the 2023 season to a perfect start.
Leitrim led 1-7 to 2-3 at half-time. Brendan Delaney found the net on 29 minutes to setup Leitrim on the way.

Strong performances from Michael Dervan. Joe Murray and Sean O’Riordain saw Leitrim to the nine point victory.
