Leitrim missed out on the Connacht U20 B title following a 3-11 to 0-9 defeat to Mayo in the decider at Philly McGuinness Park Mohill.
Mayo led 1-2 to 0-2 inside nine minutes, Darragh Beirne finding the net as early as the second minute.
Mayo moved four points clear on 13 minutes before scores from Paul Honeyman (two) and Barry McNulty left one point between them eight minutes later.
The visitors subsequently found another gear and Beirne’s second goal on 26 minutes helped Mayo to a six-point cushion at the break.
Mayo kept daylight between the sides during the second half. Niall Hurley added a third goal ten minutes from time helping the visitors score a convincing victory.
