Leitrim exited the Nicky Rackard Cup at the semi-final stages losing 3-23 to 1-11 to Mayo at Elverys McHale Park.
The sides were deadlocked at 1-8 apiece at half-time before a strong second half saw the hosts emerge victorious.
Colm Moreton scored Leitrim’s only goal after 12 minutes while Brian Morley responded with one for Mayo five minutes later.
Mayo dominated the third quarter as goals from Cathal Freeman and Shane Boland helped them to a nine point lead at the second water break.
Mayo then doubled their advantage in the last quarter setting up a final meeting with Donegal after they defeated Tyrone 3-25 to 1-21.
