Leitrim travel to Waterford looking to get back on track

A week is a long time in politics even longer in football!

This time seven days ago, Leitrim was awash with excitement as the Andy Moran era was taking off.

Then came the exiles from London and the Andy Moran balloon was well and truly burst. London have been the surprise package of 2022 and sit atop division four with six points.

Waterford away is a long trip even though they’re not a footballing powerhouse. It will be a game Leitrim will struggle with.

Like Leitrim Waterford have lost two of their opening three games. An opening day draw with Tipperary was followed by defeats to London and Carlow.

This one will be close to call. Leitrim can do, but it will be only just!
