Leitrim forward Leah Fox has landed, The Croke Park/LGFA Player of the Month award for January 2024.
Fox has been in outstanding attacking form during the early rounds of the 2024 Lidl National League. Leitrim sit proudly on top of the Division 4 standings with three wins from three outings.
Runners-up in Division 4 last year, Leitrim are firmly on course for promotion to Division 3 and Fox’s performances to date have played a key role in her team’s progress.
The 21-year-old from Glencar-Manorhamilton, scored two points as Leitrim began their 2024 Lidl National League season with victory over Kilkenny.
In Round 2, she was prominent again, scoring two goals against Wicklow before contributing 3-3 in the Round 3 victory over Derry. Leitrim’s campaign continues next Sunday when they make the trip to Donagh to take on Fermanagh.
Fox was presented with her January 2024 award by Ina Lazar, Assistant Director of Sales, The Croke Park.
