The sides will meet again in the Lory Meagher cup final on the first weekend in June.

Longford and Fermanagh will meet again in the Lory Meagher cup final after playing out a 3-18 to 2-21 draw in their round five encounter at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.

Longford got off to a blistering start leading 3-8 to 0-6 inside 25 points. David Buckley, Ronan Courtney and Cian Darcy with the goals for the hosts.

Tom Keenan replied with a goal for Fermanagh on the half-hour mark but Longford still led 3-11 to 1-8 at half-time.

Fermanagh showed significant improvement after the restart. John Paul McGarry made it a five-point game six minutes into the second half.

A strong finish saw the visitors salvage a draw. Cahir McManus found the net six minutes from time before Daniel Teague landed the equaliser five minutes later.

The sides will meet again in the Lory Meagher Cup final on June first or second in Croke Park.
