Longford booked their place in the O’Byrne Cup final following a 10 points to 1-7 draw with Meath.
Paddy Christie’s men survived an early goal and led late in the game before booking a place in the final.
The sides were tied 1-3 to six points at half-time. Longford’s scores coming from Darren Gallagher, Joe Hagan, Daniel Mimnagh and David McGivney (2 free’s).
Hagan, McGivney (f), Gallagher and Mimnagh all added second-half points as Longford led 10 points to 1-4 with 10 minutes remaining.
Meath fought back to secure a draw, but that was enough for Longford to progress to the O’Byrne cup final.
Longford will play either Offaly or Louth in the final.
