The Longford club championship draws took place last night (Tuesday) with defending senior champions Killoe Emmet Og's drawn in Group A along with Kenagh, Mostrim, Rathcline, Granard and Colmcille.
Indeed, Killoe taking on Colmcille in the opening fixtures. While, Rathcline going up against Granard while Kenagh will face Mostrim. Group B is made up of Abbeylara, Mullinalaghta, Clonguish, Longford Slashers, Dromard and Carrickedmond. The first round fixtures is Abbeylara against Mullinalaghta, Dromard facing Carrickedmond and Clonguish taking on the Slashers.

In the intermediate championship; Sean Connolly's got a bye in round 1. Whereas, Ballymahon take on Ballymore, Cashel face Ardagh Moydow, and Fr. Manning Gaels face St Brigids Killashee.
The Junior "A" championship is Longford Slashers against Young Grattens, Clonguish facing Legan Sarsfield and Colmcille taking on Killoe Emmet Og.
In the senior hurling championship, Longford Slashers recevied a bye with Clonguish taking on Wolf Tones in the opening fixture.
