Longford moved to second place in the Lory Meagher Cup table after a convincing win over 14-man Leitirm in Drumshanbo.
Longford led throughout the game and won out 12 points to eight with their points coming from Cathal Mullane 0-6, David Buckley 0-3, Paddy Lynam 0-2 and Rueben Murray 0-1.
The win moved Longford to second place on score difference. Cavan, Longford and Lancashire each have four points form their opening three games.
Leitrim sit bottom of the group with one point with two games remaining.
Longford host Cavan on May 13th in a top of the table clash, while Leitrim travel to Warwickshire on May 14.
