Longford fell to their second defeat of the Allianz League season as Fermanagh scored 3-11 to 1-10 victory.
The game swung on Longford captains Mickey Quinn’s red card just before half-time. The hosts had led eight points to three at the break.
Dessie Reynolds, Oran Kenny, Darren Gallagher (2), Mark Hughes (2), Jayson Matthews (2) all sent over points as Longford led at half-time.
Fermanagh took full advantage of the one man advantage and the strong wind in the second-half.
Keelin McGann was twice denied by Fermanagh keeper Cian Newman after the break, with Fermanagh taking advantage.
Sean Quigley found the net on 41 minutes as Fermanagh moved ahead a minute later and then Quiley found a second goal a minute later. Fermanagh led by six with six minutes remaining.
A Gallagher free four minutes from time was Longford’s first score of the second-half. A Dylan Farrell goal in the 69th minute cut the deficit to three points but that was as good as it got.
Fermanagh sealed their win with a third goal deep in stoppage time from substitute Garvin Jones.
