Longford hurlers open their division 3B Allianz league campaign at home to Fermanagh on Saturday afternoon.
This is Longford’s first game in the league this year and the first competitive game under Adrian Moran’s first competitive game in charge of Longford.
While Longford’s pre-season hurling results have been mixed, Moran has been happy with the performances as they targeted meetings with teams in higher championship grades.

Fermanagh for their part opened their campaign with an impressive 1-20 to 12 point victory over Cavan. Cavan should be the weakest team in this group, Fermanagh should expect a tough challenge.
