Longford claimed their first win of the new Lory Meagher cup campaign beating Warwickshire 2-23 to 1-9 at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
The result was never in doubt. Longford led 0-16 to 0-3 at half-time; Reuben Murray and Cathal Mullane amassed eight points collectively.
Murray and Paddy Lynam registered second-half goals for the hosts who finished with 17 points to spare.
