Longford get their Leinster championship campaign underway on Sunday at 1:30pm when they face Louth in Mullingar.
These 2 sides competed in Division 3 of the Allianz Football league and ended up having contrasting fortunes in that competition with Louth been relegated while Longford retained their status for 2021.
Longford Manager Padraic Davies noted that the current restrictions and guidelines surrounding the playing of games, has brought it back to be a more level playing field in what is difficult times.
