Longford booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Leinster minor championship after crushing Offaly 2-11 to eight points.
Offaly led at half-time by a point but Longford produced an excellent opening to the second-half to take control of the game.
Goals from Michael Flynn and Harry Kiernan saw Longford lead 2-9 to six points by the 19th minute of the second-half.
Offaly couldn’t find a response and Longford secured a second win of the campaign 2-11 to eight points.
With both counties having overcome reigning All-Ireland champions Meath in earlier rounds, both are assured of knockout football.
Longford’s victory gives them a May 4 quarter-final date. Offaly have to be content with an April 27 preliminary quarter-final tie. Kildare, as the group two winners, advanced to the May 11 semi-finals.
