Longford bowed out of the Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Championship following a 4-10 to 1-12 defeat to Kildare at Newbridge today.
Kildare laid the foundation for the victory in the opening period leading 2-5 to 1-4 at half-time with Paddy Moran finding the net for Longford.
Longford subsequently reduced the margin to two points before Kildare registered a third goal in the 43rd minute.

15 minutes later, the Lilywhites added another goal and ran out seven point winners in the end.
