The men's senior team were well beaten by Mayo Meteors in their LLR league clash in the Mall. Eoin Creevy, Josh Murphy, and Benny McGerr top-scored for Phoenix with 18, 14, and 12 points respectively.

The Phoenix Ladies' senior second team lost narrowly away to Boyle last week. The concession of some late, late baskets resulted in Boyle winning by 50 points to 44.

Boys Under 18
The Boy's under 18 team remain unbeaten in the LLR League after registering an eight point win over Carrick Cougars, coming out on top by 59 points to 51.
However, their unbeaten record in the Midlands League came to an end over the weekend on the Road to Portlaoise, losing one of their two matches.
A weakened Phoenix side lost to the Portlaoise first team by 55 points to 34, but they got the better of the Portlaoise second team with a comfortable 65 points to 29 victory.
Boys Under 16
Our Phoenix White team earned their first win of their LLR League campaign over the weekend beating Castlerea Cavaliers by 38 points to 21.
Girls Under 12
Phoenix have begun their LLR League season with back-to-back victories over Mohill and Carrick last week, with the twenty point win away to Carrick particularly impressive.
