Mens LLR League
The senior men’s team hosted Athlone at the mall on Saturday, losing a close encounter by six points with Athlone winning by 79 points to 73.
James Ward top-scored with 16 points, closely followed by Dara Keaveney with 15 points. Joshua Murphy also hit double digits with 13 points.
Kacper Baran knocked down nine points, Dillon Swaris scored eight points, David Maher and Ian Walsh got six points each.
The squad also included Prosper Chukwu, Amusa Mubarak, Mark Canty, Padraic McWeeney, and Neil Kilbane.
Next up for the senior men is an away match against the Mayo Meteors in Castlebar on Saturday, February 11th at 7pm.
Ladies LLR League
The senior ladies 1 team are away to Boyle on Tuesday Abbey Community School is the venue tipping-off at 8-30pm.
Our Senior Ladies 2 team have a local Derby against the Drumlish Dragons at Saint Mel's College on Friday, at 8:15pm.
Underage Midlands League
The U18 boys recorded a comprehensive victory on the road against Ballyroan by 70 points to 22. The U18 girls lost away to Tullamore but the U14 girls won away to Tullamore.
Underage LLR League
The U16 boys had a comfortable win over an understrength Mohill side.
The two Phoenix U16 girl’s teams both hosted Carrick on Saturday in the Mall with Fury emerging triumphant but defeat was the outcome for the Fire.
The U12 boy’s team played Mohill away in two games over the weekend winning one and losing one.
The Phoenix U12 girls came out on top in their clash against their Carrick counterparts winning by ten points.
