Phoenix looked like securing the win late in the final-quarter. However, a couple of costly turnovers allowed the home side to tie the game and force overtime. Unfortunately, Kildare proved too strong in overtime to run out winners.

Team: Sean O’Boyle (6 points), Christian McGerr (17 points), Tadgh Reilly (1 point), Daniel Ivanov (2 points), Aidan Harris, Ruadhan McCormack, Evan Lyons, Aidan Nolan (3 points), Darragh Ledwith (4 points).

The Green team completed a very busy weekend with two successive games at home to the two Ballinamore teams in the LonLeitRos league on the same day. They beat Ballinamore Blue 66-46. Then scored a 70-22 win over Ballinamore Black.
