It is believed that Longford GAA have requested a change of venue for this weekend's Division 3 league encounter with Derry due to concerns surrounding the high numbers of Coronavirus cases in the Oakleaf county particularly around the city itself.
The game is scheduled for Celtic Park on Saturday at 4:30, with the request appearing to focus on the fixture been moved out of Derry city, but not necessarily the county.
Owenbeg GAA Centre is the training academy for the County and has hosted inter-county fixtures in the past, and maybe considered as a viable option.
