Longford are set to open their Tailteann Cup campaign at the Kildare centre of excellence in Hawkfield.
With Newbridge unavailable, Kildare have been playing their Allianz League games in Netwatch Cullen Park. Whereas, their Leinster championship game with Wicklow took place in O’Moore Park, Portlaoise.
However, Shannonside Sport understands Kildare have nominated their centre of excellence as their home ground for this game.
Longford are set to open their Tailteann Cup campaign against Kildare on May 11th or 12th. Leitrim will visit Glennon Brothers Pearse Park for their second round game with Longford on May 18th or 19th.
Paddy Christie's side will round out their group phase against Waterford which will be played at a neutral venue. This is expected to be a midlands venue, possibly as a double header.
Leitrim and Kildare will also meet at a neutral venue in round three, however, this game must start at the same time as Longford versus Waterford.
