Longford Slashers bowed out of the Leinster junior hurling championship after a 1-16 to 11 point defeat to Trumera of Laois.
Slashers first appearance in the Leinster championship in 20-years saw them trail for the majority and were 1-6 to three points at the first water break. The Laois side were 1-8 to eight points ahead at half-time.
Slashers fought back in the second-half, but the Laois side always had too much to spare.
