An air and buzz of excitement is still prevailing in Longford after the Longford Slashers ladies claimed a first ever All Ireland club title at the weekend. The victory over Mullinahone was not only historic for the club but also the county as it was a first ever adult all Ireland club title to come back to it. While the celebrations did begin in Croke Park it was followed by a party in the heart of Longford town on Saturday evening. Manager of the side Conor Clarke remarked the players deserve all the plaudits coming their way
