Longford began their Allianz league division 3B defeat as Fermanagh scored a 1-10 to 11 point win at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
Fermanagh were in control in the first-half and led 1-10 to five points at half-time. Surprisingly that was Fermanagh’s final score of the game.
Longford however racked up scores from Johnny Casey, Joe O’Brien, Paddy Lynam (2), Reuben Murray totally 11 points. Alas it was not to be and Fermanagh held on for a one point victory.
