Longford Town have announced the appointment of Gary Cronin as first team manager for the 2022 season.
Cronin succeeds Daire Doyle as boss having stepped away from Bray Wanderers following their merger with Cabinteely.
"I’m delighted to be back at Longford Town Football Club” explained Cronin. “I’ve spent 10 seasons of my LOI football career at this great club as a player, coach and assistant so I’m relishing the challenge to manage the club next season."

Cronin returns to the club having managed Bray Wanderers since 2018. A former player with over 50 appearances, coach and assistant manager at De Town.
Longford Town will play the 2022 season in the first division will consist of nine teams following the merger of Bray and Cabinteely.
