Longford town will face U.C.D in the SSE Airtricity league first division play off semi final tomorrow (Saturday 31st) at 3pm at the UCD Bowl.
The other semi final will be contested between Bray Wanderers and Galway United after Wexford's appeal in regards to the eligibility of one of their players was upheld by an independent arbitrator and ruled that the results on the field of play would stand.
That resulted in Cabinteenly, losing the points awarded to them even though they lost to Wexford earlier in the league, and they dropped down the table from the play off spots and moved Galway up.
