Goals from Billy King, Chris Forrester and Darragh Burns gave St Patrick’s Athletic a 3-2 win over Longford Town in front of 2,500 fans at Richmond Park.
It means the winless drought is extended to 25 league games for Daire Doyle’s charges who are without a win since the opening night.
In an uneventful first-half King unleashed a rocket from 25-yards into the top corner as he took advantage of a passive Longford Town side despite sitting back in their shape.
Dean Williams stunning free-kick five minutes after the interval levelled matters before Forrester restored the host’s advantage.
With three minutes remaining Pats countered as Town searched for an equaliser and Burns sealed the points with a neat finish from inside the area before Conor Davis scored a last kick consolation.
