Longford Town move up to 3rd in the League table

It was another clean sheet for Gary Cronin's side in Bishopsgate last night

Longford Town moved up to third in the SSE Airtricity First Division table after they defeated Cobh Ramblers 2-0 at Bishopsgate last night. The home side took in a 1 nil lead at half time after Darren Craven found the net and Eric Molloy doubled that lead in the 2nd half. It was another clean sheet for Longford who now occupy third spot on goal difference and also have a game in hand. Tony Ghee spoke caught up with Town manager Gary Cronin after the final whistle
