Longford Town rounded out their regular season campaign with a 3-3 draw away to Galway United.
Town opened the scoring after nine minutes through Darren Clarke. Galway were back on level terms through Evan O’Connor’s 27th minute equaliser.
Town took control and led 3-1 at half-time through Matthew O’Brien (35) and Cristian Magerusan (45).
The hosts aren’t set for their winter holidays however, Rob Manley pulling one back in the opening minute of the second-half.
The ex-Longford man was on the scoresheet again nine minutes from time as the game finished out three-three.
These two will meet again in the first division play-off’s having finished the season in third and fourth place. Waterford will face Treaty United in the other play-off.
