Longford Town reverse fixtures with Cork City

Managerless Longford Town have reversed up-coming fixtures with Cork City.

Cork City v Longford Town which was originally scheduled to take place at Turner’s Cross on Friday, April 19. The game will now take place at Bishopsgate on Saturday, April 20 at 19:30.

Turners Cross has been closed for the foreseeable future after damage to the pitch at the recent Cork City Cobh Ramblers game.

As a result the SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division round 20 fixture, Longford Town v Cork City originally scheduled to take place on Saturday June 8 Bishopsgate. Will now take place on Friday, 7 June at 19:45 at Turner’s Cross.

Longford Town are currently bottom of the SSE Airtricity first division and parted ways with manager Stephen Henderson on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, Cork City v Finn Harps originally scheduled at Turner’s Cross on Friday April 26. Will now take place at Finn Park on Friday, April 26 at 18:00*

In addition, the Round 24 fixture, Finn Harps v Cork City, originally scheduled to take place at Finn Park on Friday, 12 July at 19:45 will now take place at Turner’s Cross at the same date and time.

Finally, following the previous reversal of Cork City v DLR Waves in the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division to last Saturday in the UCD Bowl. The Round 20 fixture Cork City v DLR Waves will now take place at Turner’s Cross on Saturday 28 September at 17:00
