Longford Town have qualified for the SSE Airtricity league Division 1 play offs, although they suffered a 2-1 defeat away to bottom of the table Wexford last night.
The Town finished 4th in the table as Cabinteely lost to Drogheda United who claimed the Division 1 title and Galway United drew with UCD missing out on a play off spot, while Cobh Ramblers and Shamrock Rovers II failed to produce a score.
The play off semi finals will now see Bray Wanderers taking on Cabinteely while Longford will face U.C.D.
