Longford Town travel to Bray Wanderers looking for their first win of the season on Friday night.
The hosts are unbeaten in the First Division so far this season. Bray are one of three first division teams yet to suffer a defeat.
“I’d put a line through their first game (against Athlone)” head coach Ian Ryan told the Bray Wanderers website.
2In their next two games with Waterford and Cobh, they were really good. We’ve done our homework on them after those two games.”
“They’ve some young players. But they are good young players with quality. They have a good fight in them. So, we’re up against it. But I think we’ll do ok.”
“We are really, really pleased at the minute at how we’ve started. Our performance levels have been good – but can get better. Our points return has been very good.”
Bray are expected to be without team captain Dave Webster and winger Darren Craven. Striker Ben Feeney (illness) and winger Ger Shortt (hamstring) are concerns though.
