Longford progressed to the Leinster U20 quarter-final after the most dramatic finish against Louth in Haggardstown.
Louth scored what they believed to be an equalising point with the final kick of the game, however the referee awarded the match to Louth as the scoreboard seemed to record a victory for the hosts.
Shannonside FM commentators John Duffy and Liam Tierney had scored the victory for Longford as did both official Longford and Louth twitters account.

Five minutes after the final whistle sounded the referee having consulted with umpires and linesmen awarded Longford a 4-11 to 3-13 victory.
It was a dramatic game from the outset with Longford leading 3-3 to no score after five minutes thanks to goals from Keelan McGann goals and one from Euan Finneran.
Louth rallied there after and found the net on the stroke of half-time as Longford led 3-7 (16) to 1-8 (11).
Louth continued where they left off and found the net through Jay Huhhes four minutes into the second half, however Longford weren’t giving in ground as Jack Duggan found Longford’s fourth goal with eight minutes remaining to make it 4-9 (21) to 2-11 (17).
A Daniel Reynolds fee and a Tadgh McNevin point seemed to do the trick for Longford but a Louth goal from Gabriel Bell made it a two point game.
While Louth sent over a last minute point, a mix up between the scoreboard and the referee managed to see the Louth players celebrate a victory, before their own management team steeped in.
Five minutes after the whistle referee Shay Farrelly awarded the game to Longford on a 4-11 (23) to 3-13 (22) scoreline.
Longford will now play Westmeath in the quarter-final, that is scheduled for half-past-seven in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park Thursday June 8th.
