The current CCCC proposal would see the Longford Senior Hurling team removed from the National Hurling League in 2025 with funding redirected towards coaching initiatives in clubs.

Longford will vote against this proposal at the Central Council meeting on December 2nd”.

The CCCC had proposed to remove any county with less than five hurling clubs from the 2025 Allianz hurling league. The proposal would affect Longford, Cavan, Leitrim, Fermanagh and Louth.
