It’s reported by some outlets that Mickey Graham is set to be named as part of the Galway management team.
The Ulster winning manager had been installed as Leitrim manager. However, last month stepped down from that role citing "circumstances beyond his control".
It’s now believed, Graham will make the move to last year’s All-Ireland runners-up having worked alongside Padraic Joyce as part of the Connacht management for the inter-pro series.
Those provincial fixtures last weekend, showcased the proposed new rules for football. They will be brought forward by the Fixtures review committee to special congress at the end of next month.
One of the major changes is the requirement for three-players from each team to remain in one-half of the field.
