Mohill booked a return to the Leitirm senior football final after a last gasp one point over Fenagh St. Cailins.
Domhnaill Flynn’s point in the third minute of extra-time sending Mohill back to the Leitrim final after a second-half Fenagh fight back.
Mohill led eight points to four at half-time. Four Keith Beirne frees and one from play plus a Keith Keegan point had Mohill six points to no score ahead on 11 minutes.
Donal Wrynn opened Fenagh’s account on 17 minutes. Ryan O’Rourke from play and a free halved the deficit on 21 minutes.
However, Mohill responded through Fiachra McGuinness and another Beirne free. James Gilheanney made it a four point game two minutes before half-time.
Fenagh shout out of the traps after the break. Riordan O’Rourke opening the second-half scoring with a point. A minute later Donal Wrynn rattled the back of the net to tie the scoreboard.
McGuinness responded with a point from play to move Mohill back in-front. Two Riordan O’Rourke points one from play and a free had Fenagh one point ahead on three-quarter time.
Jordan Reynolds levelled the game 11 minutes from time. Another Riordan O’Rourke free restored Fenagh’s one point lead.
However, Mohill weren’t done. Keith Keegan equalising the game with five minutes remaining.
We looked set for extra-time when up stepped Domhnaill Flynn three minutes into injury time to seal a 12 points to 1-8 Mohill victory.
