Mullinalaghta objection result expected on Sunday

Mullinalaghta’s object to the result of their game against Carrickedmond is set to be announced on Sunday.

Mullinalaghta’s objection was heard on Friday night in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park, lasting over three hours. Mullinalaghta representatives believe the game finished in a 2-12 to 2-11 victory in their favour.

A counter appeal from Carrickedmond was also heard on Friday night.

However, Shannonside Sport understands, that if the Mullinalaghta appeal is unsuccessful a number of other clubs are waiting to appeal the decision.

While only Mullinalaghta could appeal the match decision. The result of the appeals impacts a number of clubs, which allows a secondary appeal process.
