Connacht manager Padraic Joyce has endorsed the new Gaelic football rules which will be on trial at Croke Park this weekend.
There will be two interprovincial semi-finals, with Leinster to play Connacht and Munster to meet Ulster on Friday. There is also a third / fourth place play off and the final on Saturday.
Jim Gavin's Football Review Committee have introduced initiatives such as four points for a goal, two points for a point when scored outside the 40 metre arc. The retention of three players per side in the opposing half at all times and a solo and go when a player is fouled.
Galway native Joyce says we are going to see a different type of football.
