Carrick on Suir Motor club have postponed until further notice their proposed Ravens Rock Stages Rally in light of the recent upgrade of Covid 19 restrictions to Level 3.
The Rally which was to be the first closed road, speed event to be held since the initial Covid lockdown in March was to get underway this Sunday the 11th of October with competitors set to compete over 2 selected stages.
That cancellation was quickly followed by Wexford Motor club cancelling their event which was to be held on October 25th.
Again they highlighted the recent Level 3 restrictions as the reason for the postponement with the hope been, that the event could take place as soon as circumstances permit.
It is believed that both events had reached their full capacity of entries.
Meanwhile, Barry Mc Kenna with Leon Jordan on the notes have claimed the 2020 American Rally championship in their Ford Fiesta S2000.
A 4th place finish at the Show- Me Rally in Missouri last weekend was enough to see the Monaghan/Donegal pairing claim the title.
